No, I don’t diss Texas in Tributes and Trash Talk. I figured that I’d save that for Tumblr so people could whine and complain after sifting through some of the hundreds of thousands of words that I’ve written on this site — often mixed in with all of the original content, essays on various aspects of history, direct communication with my readers — that has been delivered to your dashboard for damn near five years now at no cost. I mean, all of that writing and all of my expertise that I’ve shared with you is fine and everything, but what’s really important is when I mention that I didn’t like where I lived for a year. That’s what it all comes down to, right?
