I have to admit I really love your blog. Like you, it was JFK that began my interest in the American presidency. I live in Australia and have been honored to shaked the hands of Gerald Ford and george Bush 41 and even saw Lyndon Johnson on his first visit here in 1966. I enjoy your essays a lot. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, seriously, thank you very much for the comments.  I’m pretty jealous that you had a chance to shake hands with President Ford and President Bush 41 — those are two of our more underrated Presidents and two of the most genuinely good men in recent American public service.
