I was about to come recommend The Mortal Presidency by Robert E. Gilbert to you, but then I noticed it was on your Essential Books list. I had the pleasure of taking a class on the Modern American Presidency with Gilbert this year and it was absolutely amazing. This has been kind of pointless, but yeah. The class was phenomenal, and he really does know his stuff. Also, thanks for having such an amazing blog!

Wow.  That’s a class that I would have loved being in.  The Mortal Presidency is an amazing book on the toll that the Presidency takes on those who occupy the office.  I definitely highly recommend it.

And thanks for the nice comments about my blog.  I appreciate it.
