Gerald Ford — a good man and an underrated President who served his country honestly throughout his long life.  Ford was exactly what the nation needed after Nixon and Watergate, and he’s not recognized for what he provided.  There will always be critics of Ford’s pardon of Nixon, but most historians and most politicians on both sides of the aisle agree that it was not only the correct move, but a courageous one.
