President Bush’s speech following the Columbia disaster was okay, but I don’t think it was one of his best.  It was short and to the point, but the difference between the Reagan and Bush speeches aren’t necessarily the content…it’s the delivery.  There’s no secret why Reagan is remembered as the “Great Communicator”; when the red light blinked on, Reagan was usually incredible.
